DIGNEY YORK'S MOTIF SEATTLE IS ONE OF THE 'STANDOUT HOTEL RENOVATIONS OF 2017'
Boutique hotel's 300+ room renovation deemed "truly flawless."
SEATTLE, WA - April 16, 2018: Lodging, the official publication of the American Hotel and Lodging Association, highlighted the execution of “a truly flawless renovation” by Digney York Associates. The Motif Seattle, a Destination Hotel, was listed as one of the Five Standout Hotel Renovations of 2017. DYA completed the $10 million guest room makeover of this upscale, chic boutique property. The hotel renovation included all 319 rooms and guest room corridors that visually reflect the various elements of Seattle’s culture.
The architecture and design are heavily inspired by the city’s burgeoning fashion, music, and art scenes. The renovation became a platform for Motif’s Visiting Artist Program. Every year, the hotel collaborates with a local artist to design a new custom motif and carry it through to stationery, amenities, key cards, events, and more.
