Alan Smith

Asst. Controller

Alan Smith has been with Digney York since 2011 and currently has the role of Assistant Controller. He works closely with the other members of accounting and the project teams to ensure that projects run smoothly and timely. Alan performs many essential tasks within the accounting team including accounts payable, tax filings, and project accounting.

Prior to coming to Digney York, Alan worked at a public accounting firm in the Washington, DC area for over four years.

Alan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Virginia.

Alan graduated with both a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and an MBA from Millersville University.
