Ryan McGrath’s move into project management for Digney York, in March of 2007, followed eight years of hands-on experience in ever more challenging roles in the area of construction management.

After serving as Lead Project Coordinator for large scale commercial cabling projects, Ms. McGrath spent five years with Digney York as a Project Assistant working directly for Mary Todd-Guay. In this role she participated in the estimating and bidding process, became intimately familiar with the Timberline accounting system, and calculated monthly project construction costs to the penny. In addition, Ms. McGrath worked to interpret building plans and project scope in preparation for installation of tile, carpet, vinyl, doors, hardware and bath accessories for upscale hotel refurbishment projects.

As Acting Project Manager, Ms. McGrath recently completed a $5.5M renovation project for a high-end luxury Atlanta hotel project. In this role Ms. McGrath oversaw all aspects of the project, keeping work on target and on budget and managing a crew of dozens. It’s a job that requires big picture vision, with a laser like grasp of the minute details – just what “coming up through the ranks” of Digney York delivers.
